Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Tours offers multi-day cycling tours to customers from all over the world. Being a well traveled Expat himself, Marcel knows what he would expect from a fully organised cycling holiday.
About Marcel:
Born and raised in The Netherlands he has always been active with outdoors sports next to his professional career in IT management. In Europe, he was an equestrian mostly, but also sailing, rowing, skiing, scuba-diving, sup-ing and cycling were regular past times.
Marcel moved overseas at the age of 35 and spent 6 years in Singapore as an Expat, where he found the passion for road cycling. In 2019 he and his family decided to trade in Singapore for the Australian countryside and bikeshop Bikeline Toowoomba was acquired.
In 2023 a second Bikeshop was opened in Ipswich.
In 2024 Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Tours was founded from the vision that the BVRT would be an amazing experience for fellow Expats to explore.
